Dr. Julie Mitchell is the recently retired Superintendent of the RUSD. With 36 years of experience as an educator, she considers herself a teacher at heart and public education is her passion. As a leader and advocate for all students, her goal has always been to create, foster and support positive learning environments for both students and staff. RUSD successfully implemented a Spanish Dual Immersion Program in 2016 and a Mandarin Dual Immersion Program in 2018.
